Oh, and for you Linux users out there: my plate's pretty full these
days, but I think I'll bring over the latest experimental Linux kernel
and try to find out why it doesn't work with Executor. Since ARDI is
running 1.1.51, we haven't seen this bug firsthand. The claim is that
kernel 1.1.62 breaks Executor, but kernel 1.1.61 works? I've done
Linux kernel debugging before, but if anyone has an idea what's going
on, I'd like to hear about it.

I and several others have reported that 1.1.61 works while 1.1.62 breaks
Executor. This is still the case with 1.99c. Some clues to debugging this one
may be found by reading the Changes.XX files in the /pub/Linux/kernel/v1.1
directory at sunsite.unc.edu (where the XX stands for the last two digits of
the experimental kernel version number). These files list the changes between
kernel version XX and XX+1 so the relevant files would Changes61 and Changes62.
