  18. This section contains important license information regarding the use of
  19. DynaMine.  This information applies to individual users who wish to pass
  20. copies out to friends and associates.

  22. User Groups, Computer Clubs, Disk Vendors and Distributors, Subscription
  23. Services, Disk-of-the-Month Clubs, and similar parties should refer to the
  24. VENDOR.TXT file for the complete information pertaining to them.

  26. BBS SYSOPs should refer to the SYSOP.TXT file for the complete information
  27. pertaining to them.

  39. Green Diamond Software.  All rights reserved.

  42. copyright law and also by international treaty provisions.  Any use of this
  43. software in violation of copyright law or the terms of this limited license
  44. will be prosecuted to the best of our ability.  The conditions under which
  45. you may copy this software and related documentation are clearly outlined
  46. below under the terms of the "Limited Distribution License".

  49. software for evaluation purposes for a period not to exceed thirty (30)

  68. Limited Distribution License:

  71. As the exclusive copyright holder for DynaMine, Green Diamond Software
  72. authorizes distribution by individuals only in accordance with the
  73. following restrictions.

  75. Individuals are hereby granted permission by Green Diamond Software to copy
  76. the DynaMine diskette for their own use (for evaluation purposes) or for
  77. other individuals to evaluate, ONLY when the following conditions are met.
  78.  
  79. 1) The DynaMine software package consists of all of the files listed in the
  80.    PACKAGE.TXT text file.  If any files listed in the PACKAGE.TXT text
  81.    file, or the PACKAGE.TXT file itself, are missing, then the package is
  82.    not complete and distribution is forbidden.  Please contact Green
  83.    Diamond Software to obtain a complete package suitable for distribution.

  85. 2) The DynaMine software package - including all related program files and
  86.    documentation files - CANNOT be modified in any way and must be
  87.    distributed as a complete package, without exception.

  89. 3) No registered version of DynaMine may be distributed without a written
  90.    agreement from Green Diamond Software.  The main menu screen of the game
  91.    will identify the software as "shareware" if it has not been registered.
  92.  
  93. 4) No price or other compensation may be charged for the DynaMine software
  94.    package.  A distribution fee may be charged for the cost of the
  95.    diskette, shipping and handling, as long as the total (per disk) does
  96.    not exceed $8.00 (US) in the U.S. and Canada, or $12.00 (US)
  97.    internationally.

  99. 5) The DynaMine software package CANNOT be sold as part of some other
  100.    inclusive package, nor can it be included in any commercial software
  101.    packaging offer, without permission from Green Diamond Software.

  103. 6) The DynaMine software package cannot be "rented" or "leased" to others.

  105. 7) Licensee of the DynaMine software package shall not use, copy, rent,
  106.    lease, sell, modify, decompile, disassemble, otherwise reverse engineer,
  107.    or transfer the licensed program except as provided in this agreement.
  108.    Any such unauthorized use shall result in immediate and automatic
  109.    termination of this license.

  111. 8) Registered users may possess only one registered version of DynaMine for
  112.    each registration fee paid to Green Diamond Software.  This restriction
  113.    includes any shareware versions of the software that have been converted
  114.    to registered versions.

  116. 9) The procedure for converting a shareware version of DynaMine to a
  117.    registered version is not public domain.  This information shall not be
  118.    distributed or revealed in any way to a non-registered user of the
  119.    software without permission from Green Diamond Software.

  123. Other Distribution Restrictions:

  126. + U.S. Government Information:  Use, duplication, or disclosure by the U.S.
  127.   Government of the computer software and documentation in this package
  128.   shall be subject to the restricted rights applicable to commercial
  129.   computer software as set forth in subdivision (b)(3)(ii) of the Rights
  130.   in Technical Data and Computer Software clause at 252.227-7013 (DFARS
  131.   52.227-7013).  The contractor/manufacturer is Green Diamond Software,
