  2.          Welcome to Crazy Pipes
  3.  
  4.    The object of this game is to avoid
  5. spilling any water for as long as
  6. possible.  Use the mouse to place
  7. sections of pipe on the board so that
  8. the water has somewhere to flow.
  9.    When the game starts, you will see a
  10. piece on the board with an "S" next to
  11. it.  This is where the water will flow
  12. from.  The blue bar at the left of the
  13. board shows how much time you have
  14. until the water starts flowing.  When
  15. it reaches the bottom, the water will
  16. flow from the starting piece into the
  17. section of pipe you placed after it.
  18. The water will continue to flow until
  19. it comes to a square with no pipe in
  20. it, or to a pipe which is not 
  21. attatched to the one before it.
  22.    You can place a section of pipe on
  23. any blank square.  You can also destroy
  24. a previously laid section of pipe by
  25. placing a new one on top of it, as long
  26. as the water has not yet flowed into
  27. it.
  28.    As soon as the water spills, the
  29. round is over.  If you have managed to
  30. get the water to flow through the 
  31. number of pipes shown at the top of
  32. the screen, you will advance to the
  33. next round. Each round adds more
  34. obstacles such as pits(where you can
  35. not place any pipes) and holes in the
  36. walls, which the water may use to
  37. "wrap around" to the opposite side
  38. of the board.
  39.    To quit a game in progress, press
  40. the escape key.
  41.  
  42.    To make the water flow quickly, when
  43. you know you have won, press the 'F'
  44. key.  The rules for winning or losing
  45. still apply.
  46.   On some levels, there will be a piece
  47. marked "F" making the water flow into
  48. this piece is another way to win the
  49. level.
  50.    Scoring varies depending on the
  51. level, but here are some guidelines:
  52. your score will increase for each piece
  53. of pipe the water flows through.  An
  54. extra bonus will be earned for making a
  55. loop (flowing through an intersection
  56. twice). Replacing an unused pipe with a
  57. new one will cost you points.  At the
  58. end of each round, all unused pipe will
  59. lower your score.
  60.    A starting level bonus is given for
  61. completing the level you have chosen to
  62. start on.  This bonus goes up by 2000
  63. for each level. Level 1 is worth
  64. nothing.
