  1. Cut Command Help Information       *
  2.  
  3. The Cut command is used to copy a
  4. range of contours' pen numbers into
  5. a holding register.  Once the pen
  6. pattern is copied, the pattern is
  7. removed from the current project's
  8. contours.
  9.  
  10. The Cut command is intended to be
  11. used in conjunction with the Copy
  12. and Paste commands.  These commands
  13. can be used to create complex
  14. repeating patterns in the pens of
  15. a project's contours.
  16.  
  17. Perform these steps to use the Cut
  18. command:
  19.  
  20.   1. Click contour "A"'s pen, if
  21.      necessary, to set the current
  22.      contour.
  23.  
  24.   2. Click the Cut command gadget.
  25.  
  26.   3. Click contour "B"'s pen.
  27.  
  28. The pen numbers from contour "A"
  29. through contour "B" copied into
  30. a holding register.  The number of
  31. contours from "A" through "B" are
  32. also recorded.  Once the pen pattern
  33. is recorded, the pen pattern is
  34. removed from the current project's
  35. contours.

  37. Once a pattern is in the holding
  38. register, it can be pasted back into
  39. a range of contours using the Paste
  40. command gadget.
