  9.     We continue the work Fender began
  10. many years ago to bring the cover art
  11. from every issue of LOADSTAR together
  12. in one series of slideshows. This is a
  13. great blast from the past and will
  14. certainly spark memories. If you have
  15. have the Compleat LOADSTAR CD-ROM (or
  16. a compleat set of back issues), you
  17. might want to dig out the old issue
  18. and enjoy some retro-remembrances. If
  19. you happen on a favorite program, let
  20. me know -- and we will share it again
  21. with all of LOADSTARia!

  23.     Walt Harned certainly hit his
  24. stride during this fifteenth year,
  25. providing eight of the covers. Also
  26. high on our list of artists is God,
  27. who produced graphic wonders hidden in
  28. the Julia Set (177).
  29.  
  30. Knees Calhoon got in a lick with issue
  31. 178, while his saintly alter ego,
  32. Fender Tucker, teamed up with James
  33. Hilty to create 180's puzzling
  34. painting. And Cheryl de Boissiere used
  35. nothing but Commodore PETASCII
  36. graphics to draw dramatic portraits of
  37. some provocative antagonists.

  40. until we have the entire history of
  41. LOADSTAR in artwork.
