  7.     The Matrix is one of the most
  8. profound motion pictures of this
  9. generation. Dig it -- The Evil Rulers
  10. of the earth have completely
  11. hoodwinked humanity by placing
  12. everyone into a huge, virtual reality.
  13. Only a few free humans survive -- and
  14. the Artificially Intelligent (and
  15. sentient) Machines want to destroy
  16. them.
  17.  
  18.     Enter Neo Anderson, a computer
  19. hacker who senses something is
  20. essentially wrong with the world. He
  21. is searching for Morpheus, the leader
  22. of a rebel band. However, Morpheus
  23. finds Neo, and through a black leather
  24. clad femme fatale named Trinity,
  25. invites Neo to take the Red Pill --
  26. and wake up in reality. The three go
  27. on to battle the Machine, and Neo
  28. discovers -- through death -- that he
  29. IS the One who is to save humanity
  30. from the great Lie.

  32.     "Neo" means "New", and "Anderson"
  33. means "Son of Man". "Morpheus" means
  34. "He who Shapes or Creates". "Trinity"
  35. obviously refers to the triune God of
  36. Christianity. And (as an intersting
  37. side note), in Hebrew and Greek, the
  38. word for Spirit is always feminine.
  39. Only in Latin is "Spiritus" a
  40. masculine name. The first thing Neo
  41. says to Trinity is, "I've heard of
  42. you. I thought you were a guy!"

  44.     Not only does this triune force of
  45. Creator, Son, and Spirit work together
  46. to free humanity, the reality of Neo
  47. being The One is not realized until he
  48. has been killed by the agents of the
  49. Machine. With a kiss of love from
  50. Trinity in reality, Neo's virtual body
  51. rises with a new and complete
  52. perception of the deception.

  54.     Whether or not you believe we live
  55. in a prison world and need to be saved
  56. -- you must admit it makes one heck of
  57. a story!
  58.  
  59.     And, of course, the movie Matrix
  60. has absolutely nothing to do with this
  61. program -- or the other way around.
  62. This is a classic game that is
  63. arcade-easy to learn, and devilishly
  64. hard to master.
