  9. Thank you for your continued support
  10. of this user friendly system. With the
  11. CMD SuperCPU and their storage
  12. devices, I have found that Wheels
  13. operates quicker on my C=64 than
  14. Windows ME does on my wife;s HP Invent
  15. System.

  17. Last week I recieved my LOADSTAR Home
  18. Tower, unpacked it and perused the
  19. manuals. Yesterday I hooked it up and
  20. booted it. I know that with using it,
  21. I will discover more and more about
  22. great features of 64HDriver. I had
  23. thought of purchasing all the back
  24. issues of LOADSTAR, but the cost was a
  25. little prohibitive in floppy format.
  26. The Tower answered that desire plus
  27. provided the other great utilties and
  28. hardware too.

  30. I have a brother who supports the IBM
  31. (and clones) and the MS world who is
  32. incredulous that I still use this
  33. antiquated system. I also have two
  34. sisters and a son who I hope will be
  35. enlightened a bit by the Compleat
  36. eLOADSTAR.

  44.  Yep! That is our experience here at
  45.  the Tower. Some day, our wives will
  46.  realize that we "stuck" them with the
  47.  onery PC, while we fly through life
  48.  with a good, solid system.

  50.  I am excited at how well the Home
  51.  Tower is working. I must apologize to
  52.  those who are still waiting. We have
  53.  a bottleneck with the cables. As fast
  54.  as they arrive from Hungary, I will
  55.  ship out orders. (Last minute update!
  56.  The cables are now coming in like
  57.  clockwork, and our supply of PCs is
  58.  good. To top it off, we can continue
  59.  offering the hardware Home Tower for
  60.  just $200 plus S/H.)

  62.  The 64HDriver is much more than a
  63.  browser. I now use it to transfer the
  64.  D64 disk images of 1541 sides to the
  65.  actual 1541 disks. (See the Home
  66.  Tower News for a step-by-step walk
  67.  through of copying.) And to all Home
  68.  Tower owners -- let me know if you
  69.  have problems. Some can be fixed with
  70.  a phone call. Others may require some
  71.  programming fixes. And when we fix
  72.  the major program, every Home Tower
  73.  owner will get a copy.

  75.  Your brother has a right to be
  76.  incredulous! Everything he has
  77.  learned about computers indicates
  78.  that new, fast, big is better. What I
  79.  ask is this: What do all those
  80.  Gigahertz do while waiting for a
  81.  keypress? A well configured Wheels
  82.  platform can run circles around a PC
  83.  (at least in ordinary computing
  84.  uses).

  86.  Let us know how the eLOADSTAR CD-ROMs
  87.  are received. I know my sister, who
  88.  never had a C=, got hooked on one of
  89.  the games, and pulls it up more often
  90.  than Free Cell.
