  80. Commodore MPS-801 printer it might

  82. be worth knowing that the inkers are
  83.  
  84. now available from Commodore Business

  86. Machines.  As you probably have

  88. already found out the inkers dry out
  89.  
  90. and the printing becomes very light.

  92. An alternate solution is to remove the
  93.  
  94. inker from the cartridge and spray a
  95.  
  96. small amount of WD40 onto the pad.
  97.  
  98. This will work fine until the ink is
  99.  
  100. completly used up.  You can also try
  101.  
  102. re-inking the pad using numbering
  103.  
  104. machine ink.  This works very well.
  105.  
  106. The pad usually dries out long before
  107.  
  108. the ribbon shows any signs of wear, so
  109.  
  110. the pad can be re-inked several times
  111.  
  112. before the ribbon needs to be
  113.  
  114. replaced.
