  2.                   Rules of the {CN Conference

  4.     The participants should conduct themselves in a professional
  5.     manner even when disagreeing.  Politeness and mutual respect
  6.     should be the norm.   General attacks on persons, companies,
  7.     or products are not permitted,  and confrontational, vulgar,
  8.     insulting, or arrogant language is not welcome.

  10.     Specifically disinvited are hearsay,  uninformed opinion and
  11.     zealotry in any form.

  13.     The participants  should recognize  that this  conference is
  14.     circulated  internationally,  and that long distance charges
  15.     are being paid to move their messages around the world.  For
  16.     this reason, off-topic messages are not permitted.  Comments
  17.     concerning  the  conference  itself  should  be  sent to the
  18.     moderator  via netmail.  Test messages should be posted in a
  19.     local conference.  Netmail should be used for routine "thank
  20.     yous"  and any other exchange which is of no interest to the
  21.     conference at large.

  23.     Since this is a Fidonet conference,  the policies adopted by
  24.     Fidonet will govern the technical  matters of message format
  25.     and content, and dispute resolution.
