  3. THIS PATCH WILL UPDATE MECHWARRIOR 2 DOS VERSION 1.0 TO VERSION 1.1 AND IS
  4. NOT INTENDED FOR USE WITH MECHWARRIOR 2 FOR WINDOWS 95, OR ANY OTHER 
  5. MECHWARRIOR 2 PRODUCT.  MECH2V11.EXE MUST BE RUN ON A HARD DRIVE AND WILL NOT
  6. FUNCTION PROPERLY RUN FROM A FLOPPY DISK.

  8. This patch fixes a few glitches that were encountered in version 1.0 and 
  9. includes updated and new drivers for various input devices.  The MECH2V11.EXE 
  10. file contains four files, PATCH.BAT, PATCH11.EXE, README2.TXT, and 
  11. WHATSNEW.TXT.  For a list of the fixes, new features, new drivers, and method
  12. for patching from within Windows 95, please read the WHATSNEW.TXT file that 
  13. accompanies this patch prior to patching your MechWarrior 2 files.

  15. To begin patching MechWarrior 2, just type the following at the DOS prompt:
  16.         PATCH [drive and path where MechWarrior 2 is located]
