- ΓòÉΓòÉΓòÉ 1. Help for the System Editor ΓòÉΓòÉΓòÉ
-
- Use the OS/2* System Editor as a text editor to create and edit your CONFIG.SYS
- and AUTOEXEC.BAT system files. You can also use the System Editor as a
- convenient tool to display text files or perform basic editing tasks. The
- System Editor runs in a window. You can start several versions of the System
- Editor so that you can edit several files at once. System Editor performance
- is good for text files up to 32K. For files larger than 32K, however,
- performance may not be acceptable.
-
- You can use menu bar and menu choices to edit text files. The System Editor is
- not, however, an all-purpose text editor and does not contain features that can
- be found in more complete editing and word processing programs.
