- SCALE allows you to increase or decrease the displayed
- size of a part by entering a relative scale factor and a
- new center position. You can set the current scale by
- using the assigned Immediate Mode command or by choosing
- the S: function in the Status Window.
-
- This option does not change the part data, only the
- display of the part on the screen. To change the actual
- size of the part, use the X-FORM, SCALE options.
-
- If you are working in more than one viewport, cursor-
- indicate the viewport that contains the part you want to
- scale. Note that you need to select the viewports one at a
- time. In other words, you cannot scale all of the viewport
- simultaneously.
-
- Enter a new scale factor to shrink or enlarge the selected
- entities, relative to the currently displayed size of the
- part. The current scale factor for the part is displayed
- in parentheses in the Prompt Line.
-
- A scale factor f > 1 enlarges the part and the scale
- factor 0 < f < 1 shrinks the part.
-
- Indicate a new center position for the part, or accept the
- current center position by pressing <Enter>.
-
- The part is scaled relative to its current size, using the
- new center position and the assigned scale factor.
