  1. INSTANCE lets you choose a drawing instance that you want
  2. to change from instance-specific to layout-specific 
  3. geometry.

  5. Once you modelize a drawing instance, you cannot change it
  6. back, so you should first use COPY to make a backup of the
  7. layout in case you make a mistake.

  9. Cursor select the instance that you want to change. CADKEY
  10. asks whether it's okay to modelize; choose YES or NO.

  12. If you choose YES, CADKEY modelizes the instance. Nothing
  13. appears to change, but CADKEY deletes the instance-
  14. specific geometry and replaces it with layout-specific
  15. geometry.

  17. If you choose NO, CADKEY prompts you to select another
  18. instance that you want to change.

  20. If you want to make sure that CADKEY modelized the
  21. instance, choose DETAIL, LAYOUT, SET, SHOWINST. If CADKEY
  22. does not highlight the instance, it consists of layout-
  23. specific geometry. That is, CADKEY modelized the instance
  24. correctly.
