- ALIGN lets you line up drawing instances by choosing the
- instance you want to align and entering information about
- how you want to align it.
-
- Once you enter this information, CADKEY creates a tracking
- path along which you can cursor select an alignment
- position.
-
- In Drawing Layout Mode, when you change the alignment of
- an instance that has a dimension or cross-hatching tagged
- to it, the dimension or cross-hatching pattern moves
- accordingly. However, because notes and labels are not
- tagged to an entity, they do not move when you change
- alignment.
-
- AUTO - aligns two instances by letting you choose a
- fixed instance and the instance you want to
- align. The instance you want to align uses the
- fixed instance as a reference.
-
- MANUAL - lets you align two instances along a vertical or
- horizontal tracking path, or along a tracking
- path that you determine by cursor selecting
- various alignment points.
