  1. FILE allows you to create a note by reading-in an existing
  2. ASCII text file from a disk. The note entity that you 
  3. create contains a filename (including the drive, pathname,
  4. and extension) and text attributes.

  6. The note text for a file-based note is not stored in the
  7. part file or the program database. To draw, print, plot,
  8. or save a part file that contains a file-based note, the
  9. program must access the specified text file.

  11. Unlike the DETAIL, NOTE, DISK option, there is no size
  12. restriction for the text file that you use to create a 
  13. file-based note.

  15. Enter the complete pathname and filename (including the
  16. correct extension) for the desired file and press <Enter>.
  17. If you do not specify a drive or pathname, the program
  18. searches for the text file in your note directory.

  20. Indicate a position for the note. The lower left corner of
  21. the first line in the note is used for positioning.

  23. To create another note with the same text file, indicate
  24. another position.
