  1. DISK allows you to create a note by reading-in an existing
  2. ASCII text file from a disk. The same text file can be 
  3. used to create several notes at different positions in 
  4. your part file. 1024 characters (including carriage 
  5. returns and End of File (EOF) characters) can be read-in 
  6. from a text file. Files that exceed this limit are 
  7. truncated. 128 characters are allowed per line. Lines 
  8. that exceed this limit are truncated.

  10. Enter the complete pathname and filename (including the
  11. correct extension) for the desired file and press <Enter>.
  12. If you do not specify a drive or pathname, the program
  13. searches for the text file in your note directory.

  15. Indicate a position for the note. The lower left corner of
  16. the first line in the note is used for positioning.

  18. To create another note with the same text file, indicate
  19. another position.
