  1. RUNNING allows you to create a superimposed running
  2. dimension, a chainlike series of dimensions that have one
  3. reference point (the baseline point) in common. Unlike
  4. baseline and chain dimensions, the text is placed at the 
  5. top of the witness line and the text's angle is the same 
  6. as the witness line. The dimensions are all displayed at 
  7. the witness line height indicated. You can select a 
  8. maximum of 50 reference points for baseline dimensions.

  10. Select the axis for the superimposed running dimensions by
  11. choosing from the following options.

  13. HORIZTL - to display superimposed running dimensions
  14.           horizontally between the selected points.
  15.  
  16. VERTICL - to display superimposed running dimensions
  17.           vertically between the selected points.
  18.  
  19. PARALEL - to display superimposed running dimensions
  20.           parallel to the general direction of the 
  21.           selected points, according to the indicated axis
  22.           position. Indicate the axis you want as your
  23.           dimension axis by selecting two positions.

  25. Indicate the base position of the dimension, which is the
  26. common reference point for the superimposed running
  27. dimensions.

  29. Using a Position Menu option, select a position to 
  30. indicate the witness line height. This position is used to
  31. calculate the witness and leader lines for each dimension.

  33. Select, in any order, the positions to measure by choosing
  34. options from the Position Menu.

  36. As the positions are selected, the dimensions are 
  37. displayed, extending from the common base point to the
  38. indicated point. The dimension text is placed over the new
  39. point's witness line, parallel to that line's angle and at
  40. the indicated witness line height.

  42. Indicate whether or not you want to accept the dimensions.
  43. If you choose NO, the dimension, its leader lines, and the
  44. temporary witness lines are deleted. You are prompted to
  45. indicate a position to dimension to. If you choose YES, 
  46. the dimension is accepted and is displayed along with its
  47. witness lines.
