  1. EDGE lets you dimension an arc or circle that was created
  2. in a view that is different than the one in which you 
  3. are dimensioning.

  6. 1. If the arc or circle was created in a view that is
  7. perpendicular to the current view:
  8.  
  9. Select the arc or circle to dimension.
  10.  
  11. Indicate the dimension text placement using an option from
  12. the Position Menu.
  13.  
  14. CADKEY dimensions the arc or circle as if it is a line 
  15. using a horizontal or vertical linear dimension, depending
  16. on the viewing orientation. 
  17.  
  18. When you switch views, the dimension no longer appears.
  19.  
  20. If you make a mistake, choose UNDO in the Break Area or
  21. press (Alt)-(I). CADKEY deletes the dimension and leader 
  22. lines and you can indicate another dimension text 
  23. position.

  27. 2. If the arc or circle lies in the current view,
  28. choose an option:

  30. HORIZTL - lets you create a horizontal dimension.
  31.  
  32. VERTICL - lets you create a vertical dimension.
  33.  
  34. PARALEL - lets you create a parallel dimension.
  35.  
  36. Select the arc or circle for dimensioning.
  37.  
  38. For PARALEL, enter an angle for the witness line 
  39. in degrees.

  41. Indicate the dimension text placement using an option
  42. from the Position Menu.

  44. If you make a mistake, choose UNDO in the Break Area or
  45. press (Alt)-(I). CADKEY deletes the dimension and leader
  46. lines and you can indicate another dimension text
  47. position.
