  1. BENT lets you dimension an arc or circle whose center does
  2. not appear on-screen. 
  3.  
  4. You can use BENT to dimension an arc or circle that you
  5. have not autoscaled. You can tell that you are looking at
  6. a bent radial dimension when you see part of an arc or
  7. circle that extends off-screen, along with a dimension
  8. with a leader line that zigzags.
  9.  
  10. Cursor select the arc or circle you want to dimension.
  11.  
  12. Cursor select the reference center of the arc or circle; 
  13. this is the leader's start point.

  15. Cursor select the leader line's first bend, or elbow.
  16.  
  17. Cursor select the leader line's second elbow. For a sharp
  18. angle, select almost directly above or below the first
  19. elbow.

  21. Indicate the dimension text position using an option from
  22. the Position Menu. Make sure that you place the text 
  23. somewhere between the second elbow and the arc or circle.

  25. CADKEY displays the dimension and its leader lines.  If
  26. you make a mistake, choose UNDO in the Break Area or press
  27. (Alt)-(I). CADKEY deletes the dimension and leader lines
  28. and you can indicate another dimension text position.
