  1. EDGE lets you dimension an arc or circle that you created
  2. in a view that is different than the one in which you are
  3. dimensioning.

  5.  
  6. 1. If the arc or circle lies in the current view:
  7.  
  8. Select the arc or circle to dimension.
  9.  
  10. Indicate the dimension text placement using an option
  11. from the Position Menu.
  12.  
  13. CADKEY dimensions the arc or circle as if it is a line
  14. using a horizontal or vertical linear dimension, depending
  15. on the viewing orientation. 
  16.  
  17. When you switch views, the dimension no longer appears.
  18.  
  19. If you make a mistake, choose UNDO in the Break Area or
  20. press (Alt)-(I). CADKEY deletes the dimension and leader
  21. lines and you can indicate another dimension text 
  22. position.

  26. 2. If the arc or circle lies in a view is not perpendicular
  27. to the current view, choose an option:
  28.  
  29. HORIZTL - lets you create a horizontal dimension.
  30.  
  31. VERTICL - lets you create a vertical dimension. 
  32.  
  33. PARALEL - lets you create a parallel dimension. 
  34.  
  35. Select the arc or circle for dimensioning.
  36.  
  37. For PARALEL, enter an angle for the witness line in 
  38. degrees.

  40. Indicate the dimension text placement using an option from
  41. the Position Menu.

  43. If you make a mistake, choose UNDO in the Break Area or
  44. press (Alt)-(I). CADKEY deletes the dimension and leader
  45. lines and you can indicate another dimension text
  46. position.
