  1. The Masking Menu allows you to screen a geometric entity 
  2. (e.g. lines), drafting entity (e.g. dimensions), or
  3. attribute type (e.g. line width), to increase selection 
  4. reliability and speed when the entities you want to select
  5. are part of a complex design.
  6.  
  7. Mask entities by choosing from the following options:
  8.  
  9. GEOM (geometry) - allows you to select a single entity or 
  10. a group of entities of a certain geometric type 
  11. (e.g. lines).
  12.  
  13. DETAIL - allows you to select a single entity or a group
  14. of entities that are details or notes.
  15.  
  16. COLOR - allows you to select a single entity or a group of
  17. entities that are the same color.
  18.  
  19. L-TYPE - allows you to select a single entity or a group of
  20. entities that have the same line type.
  21.  
  22. L-WIDTH - allows you to select a single entity or a group 
  23. of entities that have the same line width.
  24.  
  25. PEN # - allows you to select a single entity or a group of
  26. entities that have the same pen number.
  27.  
  28. DONE - after you choose the type of entities you want to 
  29. select and they are selected, choose done to signal
  30. the end of selection. The selected entities are then
  31. changed or deleted.

  34. Choose the type of entities you want to mask.
  35.  
  36. Select the entity or entities using the Selection Menu.

  38. Choose the DONE option. All selected entities are changed 
  39. or deleted.
