  1. CHAMFER allows you to create an angled line that has its 
  2. endpoints on two selected lines, at specified distances 
  3. from the intersection (or potential intersection) of the 
  4. lines. The selected lines are trimmed or extended to 
  5. the intersections with the chamfer line.

  7. Define the distance from the intersection of the lines to
  8. the first endpoint of the chamfer line.

  10. Enter a value greater than .00005 and less than 10,000 and
  11. press <Enter>.

  13. Enter the distance from the intersection of the lines to 
  14. the second endpoint of the chamfer line and press <Enter>.
  15.  
  16. Select the first and second lines near their intersections 
  17. with the other line.
  18.  
  19. The chamfer line is created in the plane defined by the 
  20. selected entities.
