  1. TANGENT allows you to create an arc tangent to one, two,
  2. or three entities.

  4. Create a tangent arc by choosing from the following 
  5. options:
  6.  
  7. CTR-ENT - to create an arc tangent to a selected entity 
  8. with its center at an indicated position.
  9.  
  10. 2 ENTS - to create an arc tangent to two selected entities
  11. with a specified radius.
  12.  
  13. 3 ENTS - to create an arc tangent to three selected
  14. entities.
  15.  
  16. You cannot select 2-D entities (i.e., an arc, conic, or 
  17. 2-D spline) that appear as a straight line in the current
  18. view.
  19.  
  20. In 3-D construction mode, the selected entities must be
  21. coplanar. Polylines, polygons, and 3-D splines cannot
  22. be selected in 3-D construction mode because they are
  23. not planar entities.
