  1. PRP PT allows you to create a line perpendicular to 
  2. a selected entity, and through a specified point.
  3.  
  4. Select the desired entity, near the point of
  5. perpendicularity.
  6.  
  7. Indicate the reference point that the perpendicular line
  8. will pass through, using a Position Menu option.
  9.  
  10. An error message is displayed if you are constructing in 
  11. 3-D and the entities you select are not coplanar. You are
  12. prompted to press <Enter> and to select the first entity.
  13.  
  14. If the reference point is on the selected entity and the 
  15. L-LIMIT switch is set to FUNCTN, an error message is 
  16. displayed indicating that the current settings and 
  17. selections result in a zero-length line. If this message
  18. is displayed, change the line limits, and press <Enter>,
  19. or reselect the desired entity and reference point.

  21. With the L-LIMIT switch set to FUNCTN, the perpendicular
  22. line is created with the reference point and the
  23. perpendicularity point as its endpoints.
  24.  
  25. If the reference point is on the selected entity and the 
  26. L-LIMIT switch is set to VIEWPORT, the line is 
  27. perpendicular to the selected entity at the specified
  28. reference point, and the line extends to the screen 
  29. limits.
