- Places a symbol and text in the model.

- first time command executed in current session:
- 1. (CHAR) symbol name (1-8 char.), <ENTER> - graphic library
- any other time command executed and after specifying a symbol in
- prompt 1:
- 2.* (POINT) place (Alt+ 1-Y sym, 2-X sym, 3-any, 4-def, 5-large,
- 6-small, <Ent>-setting)
- if you press <ENTER> in prompt 2:
- 3.* (Y/N) y-new symbol, n-new factor, <ENTER>-new direction
- if you reply `y' in prompt 3, you are returned to prompt1.
- if you reply `n' in prompt 3:
- 4.* (NUM) NEW size factor (current: curr. factor )
- 5.* (NUM) NEW angle increment (current: curr. angle)
- if you press <ENTER> in prompt 3:
- 4.* (POINT) first direction point
- 5.* (POINT) second direction point
- if you place the symbol in prompt 2:
- 3.* (CHAR) text (up to 40 chars.), <ENTER> for 0.00

- Description
- This command places a symbol from the symbol library at a specified position
- in the model. The first time you execute this command in a work session, you
- are first prompted to enter the name of the symbol to be used, or to press
- <ENTER> to select a symbol from the graphic library. This symbol will be the
- default for the current session until a new symbol is set.

- Before you position the symbol, you have a number of options:

- Alt + 1 Change the symbol about the Y axis.
- Alt + 2 Change the symbol about the X axis.
- Alt + 3 Change the angle increment.
- Alt + 4 Change the size and angle of the symbol back to its original size
- and angle.
- Alt + 5 Increase the size of the symbol by a factor. Each subsequent time
- you press <Alt> + 5 the symbol will increase in size by the size
- factor.
- Alt + 6 Decrease the size of the symbol by a factor. Each subsequent time
- you press <Alt> + 5 the symbol will decrease in size by the size
- factor.
- ENTER Specify a new symbol, change the size factor and angle increment,
- or change the direction of the symbol.

- If you press <ENTER> in prompt 2, you may press `y' to specify a new symbol,
- `n' to change the size factor and angle increment, or press <ENTER> again to
- change the direction of the symbol. If you press `y', you are returned to
- prompt 1. If you press `n', enter the new size factor and angle increment.
- If you press <ENTER> enter the first direction point and the second direction
- point.

- NOTE 1: The size set will be the default size for the symbol until the size is
- changed or a new symbol is set.
- NOTE 2: The size set will be used for the size of the symbol in the \rndim
- command.

- Once you have the desired symbol, position it at the desired location in the
- model.

- Specify the text to appear beside the symbol. If you reqire the text "0.00"
- press ENTER. If you enter text, it will be come the default text for further
- placments of the same symbol. Press ENTER to accept the previous text or type
- new text.

- Creating new symbols
- To create new symbols, you have to draw the symbol and place it into the
- library using the \olib command. Ensure that the origin point of the drawing
- is the point at which you want the text to be justified.
