  1. OFSET                                                              Menu: MWALS

  3. Sets an offset distance between a multi-layer wall and the line linking the
  4. previous and current points.
  5. (A nested command)
  6.  
  7.         1. (NUM) offset distance
  8.      If an offset distance has already been set:
  9.         1. (NUM) NEW offset distance, current: [n] (<ENTER> to set offset
  10.                  mode off)
  11. Description:
  12. This command sets the perpendicular distance between the wall and the line
  13. defined by the previous and current points. It can also be used to turn the
  14. offset mode off if an offset has already been set.
  15. Type the required offset distance and proceed to create walls. The walls will
  16. be drawn parallel to the base line at the specified distance from it. Since
  17. this is a nested command, you will be returned to the former command.
  18. If an offset distance has already been set you have the option to enter a NEW
  19. offset distance or press <ENTER> to turn offset mode off.
  20. NOTE:If you press ALT+1 to change the symmetry of the wall, the offset is also
  21. reflected to the opposite side of the base line.
