- Description
- This command joins two existing dimension lines into one.
-
- The newly created dimension line will possess all the attributes of
- the first dimension line, i.e., size font, format code, color. The
- displacement (if moved using \dimmt) and the justification
- of the original dimension line will not be kept. The justification
- is always assumed to be "center".
-
- Indicate and confirm the dimension line to be broken. Indicate the
- point at which the line is to be broken.
-
- Indicate and confirm the first dimension line to be joined. Indicate
- and confirm the second dimension line to be joined.
-
- The two dimension lines are joined into one and the dimension of the
- newly created dimension line is displayed.
-
- NOTE 1: The two lines to be joined must be aligned but do not have
- to be contiguous.
- NOTE 2: This command is not effective on dimension lines whose units are feet.
