  3. Selects or deselects entities by a specified non-geometrical attribute.

  5.         1.   (Y/N) option: y-select, n-deselect <y>
  6.         2.   (Y/N) define attribute by: y-name & value, n-name <y>
  7.      if `y' is selected:
  8.         3. * (CHAR) name & value of attribute (1-20 char., name=value)
  9.      if `n' is selected:
  10.         3. * (CHAR) name of attribute (1-20 char., name=)

  12. Description:
  13. This command selects or deselects entities by their non-geometrical attributes
  14. (set using either the \atrib command or by the system, as displayed in the
  15. \qent command or as appears in the dump file created using the \dump command).
  16. State whether you wish to select or deselect.  Then choose an attribute
  17. definition option: by name and value or by name only.  If name and value is
  18. selected, define the name and value (up to 20 characters) in the format:
  19. name=value, e.g., price=$200, wn=l1-20cm etc.).  If name only is selected,
  20. define the attribute name (up to 20 characters) in the format: name=, e.g.,
  21. price=, wn=, etc.).  The system asks for additional attributes until you enter
  22. a new command.  The entities with the specified attributes are added to or
  23. removed from the selection group.  Entities included in the selection group
  24. are indicated by red dotted lines.  Entities removed from the selection group
  25. resume their original color.
