- Assembles a polygon from an existing series of lines and arcs.
-
- 1. * (IND) line or arc on polygon (<ENTER> to process)
- 2. * (Y/N) confirm choice
- if reply is `n':
- 3. * (Y/N) look for alternative polygon?
-
- Description:
- This command enables you to assemble a new surface polygon from a series of
- lines and arcs by connecting them together to form a closed loop. Indicate
- one line (or arc) in the series of lines and arcs forming the loop. The
- system highlights the loop and asks for confirmation.
-
- If you reply `n' at the confirmation prompt, the system will ask if
- alternative loops should be searched for. This allows you to pick the correct
- loop when the indicated line is included in more than one loop. If you reply
- `y' at the confirmation prompt, the system will create the polygon. The
- system then returns to the beginning of the command and prompts you for the
- next line or arc with which to assemble a loop. If you continue to pick and
- confirm loops in this manner, you add loops to the first polygon (see the
- \pjump command).
-
- If you press <ENTER> at prompt 1, the system will sort the loops (see \ordrp)
- in the assembled polygon and terminate the command.
- NOTE: If the search is taking too long, you may stop it by pressing any key.
