  1. Post Office Protocol (POP) servers for NEXTSTEP        12-Aug-94

  3. The gzipped tar file, popper.MAB.tar.gz, contains binaries for two
  4. separate versions of the popper Post Office Protocol (POP) server.
  5. One is the standard RFC-compliant Berkeley popper and the other is
  6. Qualcomm's slightly enhanced and altered version of the Berkeley
  7. popper.  The stripped excutables were compiled MAB (i386, m68k) for
  8. NEXTSTEP 3.2.  They've been tested on a NeXTstation running NS 3.2,
  9. but not exhaustively.

  11. Unpacking the file will create a directory called popper, with
  12. READMEs, RFCs and subdirectories with the executables and manpages.

  14. Use Opener.app or
  15. % gunzip < popper.MAB.tar.gz | tar -xf -
  16.  
  17. The sources can be found in a separate package.
