  4. Welcome to another in the series of Roger Wilco's bumbling
  5. but good hearted adventures. We hope you'll find this demo entertaining
  6. and that, most importantly of course, it will make you want to
  7. shell out those hard-earned buckazoids for the full blown game.
  8. (Ken Williams made me say that part. You know how bosses are!)

  10. There are plenty of puzzles to solve here, but please note that
  11. they are an entirely different set of puzzles from what you will
  12. find in the real game so, by playing this all the way through, you
  13. will not be shorted on play value when you get the entire game.
  14. Hopefully, it will give you some bonus enjoyment. That indeed is
  15. our aim. (Along with wanting to sell a whole lot of these suckers!)

  20. LOADING A VESA DRIVER
  21.  
  22. Space Quest VI Demo will require that your video card supports 
  23. VESA - a special video driver that allows your video card to 
  24. display the high resolution graphics on your computer.  Many 
  25. of the modern video cards have VESA drivers built in.  Other 
  26. video cards may require that you load a VESA driver prior to 
  27. launching the game.

  29. The Space Quest VI Demo CD contains a set of the most common 
  30. VESA driver for the more common video cards.  If the game will 
  31. not load because it indicates you need a VESA driver, look in 
  32. the VESA directory on the CD and see if there is a driver for 
  33. your video card.  Loading a VESA driver for each video card 
  34. requires different steps.  For complete instructions about 
  35. loading a VESA driver for your video card, please consult your 
  36. video card documentation or contact your video card 
  37. manufacturer.
