- You'll probably use the Contacts section more than any other, as almost
- everyone has a massive list of names, addresses & phone numbers that they
- need to keep track of.
-
- The address book is split into alphabetical sections - each accessible by
- clicking on the relevant letter in the grid. All you can see to begin with
- is the name and phone number - clicking on the entry will bring up more
- details on that person.
-
- There are just two icons on the main screen ...
-
- ADD ENTRY
- Click on this to, you guessed it, add an entry.
-
- FIND
- This will ask you what name (or part of name) you are looking for, and will
- take you to the relevant page.
-
- Adding an entry is dead easy ... you are just asked to type in the persons
- name, address, main telephone number, and any notes you want to add about
- them (or perhaps fax, mobile numbers etc.). Click on the tick, and the entry
- will automatically be stored in the appropriate section.
-
- When you click on an entry to retrieve the full details on that person, you
- will find 4 icons ...
-
- BIN IT
- Deletes the current entry - Use with caution!
-
- PRINT IT
- Print out the current entry details
-
- DIAL IT (Please note - this will not work on A500s & some A600s!)
- Pro-Organiser can dial the number stored in the entry for you.
- No special equipment is needed. Just hold the mouthpiece of the phone next
- to your TV or Monitor speaker and click on this icon. Your Amiga will
- generate touch-tones and the number will be dialled.
-
- OK - DONE
- When you've finished viewing the entry, click on this and you'll be taken
- back to the main list screen.
