  4. For best performance and ease of use make sure to set up the PLUSDATA=
  5. variable in your Autoexec.bat file. Check P585.DOC for instructions.

  10. ║ Once you registered PrintPlus you will be promptly sent the Newest      ║

  12. ║ This will include a Special code that will let you Registered any new   ║
  13. ║ versions of PrintPlus that you acquired by any means.                   ║
  14. ║ You will be able to enter your name and serial number.                  ║
  15. ║ Also any release after August 10th will give you ( Registered Users)    ║
  16. ║ the option of pausing at the title screen, like the evaluation version, ║
  17. ║ or skipping this and going directly into the program.                   ║

  27. PACKING.LST list all of the files in this package. If any are missing please

  29. If your printer doesn't support Ibm box Characters you can toggle to user
  30. define characters with [Alt-B].
  31. You can then either print p585.doc out like this or redirect it to a file in 
  32. the Redirect Menu.
  33. In the Setup Window you have the option of redefining the characters by 
  34. pressing E for edit.

  36. In most cases it is best to leave skip on and filter on. These are available
  37. just in case you need a little more control in some situations.

  39. Most Users will probably not have a need to toggle these off.
  40.  
  41. The file KEY included is a one page "Quick Reference" GUIDE for some 
  42. common key commands.
  43. Print this out from DOS or use PrintPlus in Pmode 0 with Header off.
  44. If your printer won't print the IBM box graphics toggle to User define
  45. ones with Alt-B before printing.
  46. This will just fit on one page.

  50. Here's how to get PrintPlus up an running easy and right!
  51.  
  52. 1. Add the following to your AUTOEXEC.BAT file.
  53.  
  54.    set plusdata=c:\util
  55.  
  56. Where c:\util would be change to the path of your choice.
  57.  
  58. Save your AUTOEXEC.BAT file
  59.  
  60. Reboot your computer    or
  61. type set plusdata=c:\util
  62.  
  63. 2.  Put PrintPlus ( P585.EXE ) in a dir that's in your PATH.
  64.  
  65. 3. Run PrintPlus.
  66.    Press F4 from the main file display.
  67.    If you have a printer listed, choose it. Else press [Esc]

  69. 4. If you want to change the screen colors press Alt-C from the
  70.    main file display.

  72. When you quit PrintPlus all your default settings will be saved.
  73. You can change them any time.
