  23. This appendix describes what happens when you enter different 
  24. keyboard commands during a NCSA Telnet session.

  26. Key(s)    Action
  27.  
  28. ALT-A    adds a session.
  29.  
  30. ALT-B    takes you back a session (in the list of 
  31.     sessions you have opened).
  32.  
  33. ALT-C    toggles capture file on and off.
  34.  
  35. ALT-D    dumps the current screen into the capture     file.
  36.  
  37. ALT-E    escapes to a DOS shell.
  38.  
  39. ALT-F    starts file transfer as if typed:
  40.     ftp [internet address].
  41.  
  42. ALT-G    displays the Graphics menu.
  43.  
  44. ALT-H    displays the Help screen.
  45.  
  46. ALT-I    sends the internet address to the host.
  47.  
  48. ALT-K    erases a character.
  49.  
  50. ALT-N    takes you to  the next session (in the list of sessions 
  51.     you have open).
  52.  
  53. ALT-O    aborts output.
  54.  
  55. ALT-P    changes a parameter; one of: color, capture 
  56.     file name, backspace, session name, screen 
  57.     mode, etc.

  59. ALT-Q    sends the query, Are you there?
  60.  
  61. ALT-R    resets the VT100 screen.
  62.  
  63. ALT-S    skips scroll and jumps ahead.
  64.  
  65. ALT-U    erases the line.
  66.  
  67. ALT-V    copies text from clipboard onto the current 
  68.     session.

  71. ALT-W    sends your password when you're FTPing 
  72.     back to your PC.

  74. ALT-X    closes the connection.
  75.  
  76. ALT-Y    interrupts the process.

  78. ALT-Z    displays the Message screen.

  80. CTRL-HOME    clears/enters graphics mode.
  81.     
  82. CTRL-SHIFT-F3    aborts NCSA Telnet completely. Use of this 
  83.     command is strongly discouraged

  85. HOME    exits graphics mode.

  87. SCR LOCK    pauses/restarts the screen (do not use 
  88.     CTRL-NUM LOCK)

  90. SCR LOCK    enters/exits the scrollback mode

  93. The following keys allow you to move around the screen while 
  94. you're in Scroll Lock mode:
