  1. In addition to this file you should have a file named INSTALL.EXE which
  2. contains the program, manual, and sample data in compressed format.

  4. To install MyFamily, at the DOS prompt, follow these steps:
  5.  
  6.   1. Make a directory               MD \MY2
  7.   2. Change to that directory       CD \MY2
  8.   3. Install the program            A:INSTALL
  9.   4. Print manual (if desired)      COPY MYMANUAL.DOC PRN
  10.   5. Run the program                MY
  11.  
  12. If installation is successful you will see the following files:

  14.   MY.EXE            * MyFamily 2.0 program
  15.   MYMANUAL.DOC      * MyFamily manual
  16.   SAMPLE.DBF        * Sample data file
  17.   SAMPLE.DBT
  18.   SAMPLE.DBK
  19.   SAMPLE.DBX
  20.   SAMPLE.DBE

  22. You may view the manual file from within MyFamily by using the File Manager
  23. option.  Select the file MYMANUAL.DOC and press F8 for view.
