  1. Hello People!
  2. A very big THANK YOU to all of you who have decided to upgrade to SkyGlobe 3.0.
  3. I have decided to make it even easier for you to ensure that you always have
  4. the latest version of SkyGlobe, if you wish. At any time, you may receive an
  5. uncustomized copy of the latest version of SkyGlobe by sending $5 ($6 outside
  6. North America) to KlassM Software, 284 142nd AVE, Caledonia MI 49316. You will
  7. be able to use your current .REG file with this copy, which will keep the work
  8. down on my end. While you will not receive a new Reference Card, the .DOC file
  9. will reflect any changes in the new version. You will, of course, still be
  10. notified of major new upgrades, which will always be relatively inexpensize,
  11. be customized on the disk I send you, and contain up-to-date Reference Cards.
  12. It is just that I have trouble balancing the needs of those of you who want
  13. a new copy of SkyGlobe with Feature #1, Feature #2, etc., as soon as possible,
  14. without necessarily requiring new documentation or new .REG files, and those
  15. of you who are willing to wait a little longer. This new offer should help. If
  16. you notify me of a significant bug or make a useful suggestion, I'll send you
  17. back $1, and if you are the first to tell me about a particularly bad bug, I'll
  18. send it to you for free. Now on to some last-minute enhancements!

  20. Alt-F4 now turns on the Twilight Flag, which brightens the background when
  21.        either the Sun or Moon is in the sky. Moon phases are not yet accounted
  22.        for, I'll be adding this soon. (VGA/SVGA only.)

  24. TAB and Shift-TAB now bump up the time to either the next sunrise or sunset,
  25.     whichever is next. Right now this uses 10-minute increments, and it
  26.     occasionally stutters once. Try this with Turbo! I'll be expanding the
  27.     intelligence of this, so you may be able to Turbo either sunrise or sunset
  28.     or maybe pick a particular planet.

  30. Navigation star labels are now a different color than non-nav stars.

  32. An alphabetical star menu has been added to the Find command, which is not
  33.    yet documented, but it is quite easy to use.
