- Hello People!
- A very big THANK YOU to all of you who have decided to upgrade to SkyGlobe 3.0.
- I have decided to make it even easier for you to ensure that you always have
- the latest version of SkyGlobe, if you wish. At any time, you may receive an
- uncustomized copy of the latest version of SkyGlobe by sending $5 ($6 outside
- North America) to KlassM Software, 284 142nd AVE, Caledonia MI 49316. You will
- be able to use your current .REG file with this copy, which will keep the work
- down on my end. While you will not receive a new Reference Card, the .DOC file
- will reflect any changes in the new version. You will, of course, still be
- notified of major new upgrades, which will always be relatively inexpensize,
- be customized on the disk I send you, and contain up-to-date Reference Cards.
- It is just that I have trouble balancing the needs of those of you who want
- a new copy of SkyGlobe with Feature #1, Feature #2, etc., as soon as possible,
- without necessarily requiring new documentation or new .REG files, and those
- of you who are willing to wait a little longer. This new offer should help. If
- you notify me of a significant bug or make a useful suggestion, I'll send you
- back $1, and if you are the first to tell me about a particularly bad bug, I'll
- send it to you for free. Now on to some last-minute enhancements!
-
- Alt-F4 now turns on the Twilight Flag, which brightens the background when
- either the Sun or Moon is in the sky. Moon phases are not yet accounted
- for, I'll be adding this soon. (VGA/SVGA only.)
-
- TAB and Shift-TAB now bump up the time to either the next sunrise or sunset,
- whichever is next. Right now this uses 10-minute increments, and it
- occasionally stutters once. Try this with Turbo! I'll be expanding the
- intelligence of this, so you may be able to Turbo either sunrise or sunset
- or maybe pick a particular planet.
-
- Navigation star labels are now a different color than non-nav stars.
-
- An alphabetical star menu has been added to the Find command, which is not
- yet documented, but it is quite easy to use.
-
- Thanks, I have to start making your disks!
