  1. Computer Logics Releases FTU Version 3R3

  3. Cleveland, OH, April, 1991 . . . Computer Logics announces the release of FTU
  4. (File Transfer Utility) Version 3R3, an all inclusive micro-to-mainframe file
  5. transfer system for Series 1100/2200 users. FTU provides file transfer
  6. capabilities for Batch, Demand, MAPPER and TIP transaction programs. The product
  7. is shipping now.

  9. The enhanced version of FTU includes the following new features:

  11. * PEPterm/PEPtalk interface. Supports PEP Macintosh terminal emulation. PEPterm
  12.   users take advantage of Macintosh-interfaces and menus to start and manage
  13.   file transfers.
  14.  
  15. * Easy to use. Perform PC-to-PC transfers (via the host) in a single command.
  16.  
  17. * Autosession. Automatically dials a PC, establishes a session, performs file
  18.   transfer, closes the session and disconnects the phone line.
  19.  
  20. * Auto-insert line numbers. Users can automatically insert line numbers for
  21.   text-file transfers. Standard (sequential) and CTS type line numbers are
  22.   supported.

  25. features of Computer Logic's FTU, Version 3R3. FTU provides support for terminal
  26. printers and standard UTS terminals, allowing all Series 1100/2200 users to
