  1. Kramer Consulting, Inc., developer of NC-AUTO-CODE NC/CNC programming
  2. software for AutoCAD, has announced the formation of a consortium with two
  3. other registered AutoCAD developers located in Europe. Other members of
  4. the group include: 1) Genius GmbH, Amberg, Germany, developer of the
  5. Genius 11 mechanical engineering library, and 2) Data-M GmbH, Munich,
  6. Germany, whose primary products are COPRA computer aided roll forming
  7. software and 3D Solid sheet metal design packages. The consortium has
  8. integrated the products of each company under the AutoCAD environment to
  9. provide a wide range of AutoCAD solutions for design and manufacturing
  10. engineering in an integrated environment.

  12. AUTO-CODE Mechanical will serve as the marketing arm of the consortium in
  13. North America thus providing a single source for training and technical
  14. support. A key feature of the consortium's product offerings is that the
  15. user can move from one application to the next without leaving AutoCAD or
  16. translating data files. Additional offerings will be announced in the near
  17. future. AUTO-CODE Mechanical was formed in January 1992 as a subsidiary
  18. company of Kramer Consulting, Inc. Kramer formed AUTO-CODE Mechanical to
  19. focus on delivery of integrated AutoCAD solutions for design and
  20. manufacturing engineers. Kramer Consulting, Inc. remains in existence as a
  21. holding company and to continue its previous consulting and programming
  22. operations. The new subsidiary is based in Dublin, Ohio in the same
  23. offices as Kramer Consulting.
