  1. SAN JOSE,CA-March, 1992--Alan Miller, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer
  2. of Accolade, a leading worldwide developer of entertainment software, and
  3. Terry Jastrow, President of Jack Nicklaus Productions, today jointly
  4. announced that Accolade has extended its agreement with Golden Bear
  5. International and Jack Nicklaus Productions. Under the terms of the new
  6. agreement, which extends through the mid 1990's, Accolade retains its
  7. rights as the exclusive developer and publisher of entertainment golf
  8. software products featuring Jack Nicklaus.

  10. Jack Nicklaus commented, "It is with great pleasure that I join Al and
  11. Terry in announcing the extension of our relationship with Accolade. They
  12. have performed effectively at producing and distributing our computer
  13. software and videogame products, and I have always appreciated their
  14. insistence upon excellence."

  16. Under its original agreement with Jack Nicklaus Productions and Golden Bear
  17. International, Accolade published two best selling and award winning golf
  18. simulations - Jack Nicklaus' Greatest 18 Holes of Major Championship Golf
  19. and Jack Nicklaus' Unlimited Golf & Course Design. The original agreement
  20. also resulted in a variety of add-on course disks and a course clip-art
  21. disk.

  23. The new agreement will comprise multiple products across a variety of
  24. systems including personal computers, videogame consoles and optical media
  25. such as CD-ROM. The first product, scheduled for release this spring, will
  26. be Jack Nicklaus Golf & Course Design: Signature Edition for IBM PC
  27. compatible computers. Described as "the true standard of golf," this new
  28. simulation features two gorgeous 256-color VGA courses, a stunning Course
  29. Designer that allows players to create their own courses in 256 blazing
  30. colors, and fully digitized male and female players, including the
  31. computerized swing of Jack Nicklaus.
