  1. FILE Command P - Personal Downloads

  3. RBBS-PC allows the SYSOP to address a file to one specific caller or
  4. group of callers to download.  Personal
  5. downloads are unique from other files that are available for callers to
  6. download in that:
  7.  
  8. 1.  Only the person (or group) that the sysop designates can view or
  9.     download personal files.
  10.  
  11. 2.  There is no time limits on downloading personal files.
  12.  
  13. TIPS:
  14. 1.  If there is a file you can't download for some reason (i.e.  it is too
  15.     large to download within the normal time limits that the SYSOP
  16.     established), you might ask the SYSOP to make it available to you as a
  17.     personal download.
  18.  
  19. 2.  At the prompt for P)ersonal download, you can ask for a list of all
  20.     files available to you (L)ist).  An * in front of the file name means
  21.     it is a new one you have never downloaded.
  22.  
  23. 3.  You can ask RBBS-PC to download all new files addressed to you by
  24.     specifying * at the prompt.
