  3.  - Well, looks like I introduced a hardware problem with the 2.0 Christmas
  4.    version.  Hopefully, this problem is fixed in the 2.01 New Year's Day
  5.    version <grin>.  This problem was related to the CTS flow control on
  6.    high speed modems.

  8. What's new in Black Jack For Time 2.0:
  9.  
  10.  - Changed the whole layout of the game screen.  In rearranging the game
  11.    screen, some cursor positioning sequences are quicker now.
  12.  
  13.  - Players may now buy insurance.  When the dealer's first card dealt is
  14.    an ACE, players may buy insurance at an amount equal to half of their
  15.    current bet.  If the dealer holds a natural twenty-one, you win your
  16.    insurance bet and are paid at 2 minutes for each minute wagered.  If
  17.    the dealer does not hold a natural twenty-one, you lose your insurance
  18.    (half your original bet) and the hand plays through to conclusion.

  20.  - Players may now double down on any hand.  This is in keeping with the
  21.    rules of the majority of casinos.

  23.  - The files JP.ANS and JP.ASC have been replaced by BJOPEN.ANS and
  24.    BJOPEN.ASC.

  26.  - Supports RA 1.01 thru 1.10, QuickBBS 2.64 thru 2.75 and ProBoard 1.20.

  33. What's new in Black Jack For Time 1.5:

  35.  - Fixed a nasty bug which disabled CTS checking on systems using high
  36.    speed modems.  This is the sole reason for this release.

  38.    NOTE:  BJFT may not recognize your key file.  If this is the case,
  39.           delete BJ.KEY and re-register the program using the procedures
  40.           given to you when you registered the program.  If you have any
  41.           problems, please contact John Parlin at 282/40.

  43.  - Updated error log routines so that all abnormal program exits are
  44.    recorded.  If BJ_ERR.LOG exists, it is intended for your viewing
  45.    pleasure so that you may see what abnormal program exits are occurring.

  49.  - Recompiled under JPDoor 3.01 which supports the new RA 1.10 beta data
  50.    structures.

  52.  - Changed key structure.  If you were previously registered and version
  53.    1.4 does not recognize your old key file, please send a netmail message
  54.    to the author at one of the FidoNet bulletin board systems listed in
  55.    BJ.DOC.  Or, send a new registration form via US Mail and attach a note
  56.    stating that you were previously registered.  I will do a database
  57.    search on your previous registration and expedite a new key to you.

  59.  - The program now asks users if their communications program can display
  60.    the club character.  If not, the letter 'C' will be used instead.

  62.  - The CVT.EXE program is no longer needed on QuickBBS systems and is no
  63.    longer included in the distribution archive.  BJFT now automatically
  64.    recognizes whether it is running under RemoteAccess or QuickBBS and
  65.    converts EXITINFO.BBS accordingly.

  69.  - Recompiled under the new version of JPDoor.  This should fix the lockup
  70.    problems that some were experiencing.

  74.  - BJFT now supports only one command line parameter and that is the
  75.    configuration file name.

  77.    Examples:  BJ.EXE BJ.CFG    - Uses the BJ.CFG file

  80.  - The command line parameter /F has been removed.  This was for testing
  81.    purposes.

  83.  - BJFT now prompts the user for display type.  Players may now opt to have
  84.    mono-graphics rather than color-graphics.

  86.  - Added a line to the BJ.CFG file.  Line 7 specifies the maximum number of
  87.    minutes a player may return with.  For example, if this is set to 120,
  88.    then players with more than 120 minutes remaining when they re-enter the
  89.    BBS, will have their time trimmed to 120 minutes and the remainder will
  90.    be automatically deposited into the player's RATS account.

  92. What's new in Black Jack For Time 0.0beta:

  94.  - Nothing!  This is the first release.  If you're a beta basher, you can
  95.    install BJFT easily:
  96.  
  97.      - BJFT can be run in the RA system directory or in a subdirectory of
  98.        its own.  I would recommend a subdirectory.
  99.      - Unpack the distribution archive into the subdirectory.
  100.      - Edit the file BJ.CFG in the subdirectory.
  101.      - Just call it as a type 7.
