  2.                   Silver Xpress Main Menu Help

  4.   Silver Xpress is an off-line mail service where you can scan for new
  5.   messages from your favorite message areas., pack it up into a
  6.   compressed file, and download the file ono your PC
  7.  
  8.   Once you downloaded the mail file (known as the Silver Xpress OPX mail
  9.   file), you can then read the mail off-line on your PC with the Silver
  10.   Xpress Reader (XpRead.Exe).
  11.  
  12.   With Xpread, you can interactively, and in user-friendly fashion, read
  13.   and reply to the messages. The very next time you connect to the
  14.   board again, you can then upload the mail you created.

  16.   Just imagine the time savings in phone connections!

  18.   To get started, all you need is the file:

  20.   SXPR228.ZIP - The Silver Xpress Reader Program to read your mail.

  22.   and an archive program like PKXARC, PAK, PKZIP, LHARC, or ZOO.

  25. Main Menu Commands:

  27.    C - Configuration
  28.  
  29.        Select the mail areas to find messages. Define keywords, and
  30.        select the transfer protocol, archiver, Graphic, Help Level,
  31.        and some other settings.

  33.    D - Download Messages.
  34.  
  35.        With this option, Silver Xpress will begin searching for mail and pack
  36.        the mail for you to download. Silver Xpress will create a file called
  37.        board.OPX where board is the xpress id for this Silver bulletin board.

  39.    U - Upload Replies.
  40.  
  41.        With this option, you can upload your replies created by the Silver
  42.        Xpress Reader (XpRead). XpRead will create a file called "board.rep"
  43.        where board is the xpress board id for this bulletin board.

  47.    L - Display the personal history of your Silver Xpress session.

  51.    Q - Exit Xpress and return to the main host service.
