- Silver Xpress Main Menu Help

- Silver Xpress is an off-line mail service where you can scan for new
- messages from your favorite message areas., pack it up into a
- compressed file, and download the file ono your PC
-
- Once you downloaded the mail file (known as the Silver Xpress OPX mail
- file), you can then read the mail off-line on your PC with the Silver
- Xpress Reader (XpRead.Exe).

- With Xpread, you can interactively, and in user-friendly fashion, read
- and reply to the messages. The very next time you connect to the
- board again, you can then upload the mail you created.

- Just imagine the time savings in phone connections!

- To get started, all you need is the file:

- SXPR228.ZIP - The Silver Xpress Reader Program to read your mail.

- and an archive program like PKXARC, PAK, PKZIP, LHARC, or ZOO.

- Main Menu Commands:

- C - Configuration
-
- Select the mail areas to find messages. Define keywords, and
- select the transfer protocol, archiver, Graphic, Help Level,
- and some other settings.

- D - Download Messages.

- With this option, Silver Xpress will begin searching for mail and pack
- the mail for you to download. Silver Xpress will create a file called
- board.OPX where board is the xpress id for this Silver bulletin board.

- U - Upload Replies.

- With this option, you can upload your replies created by the Silver
- Xpress Reader (XpRead). XpRead will create a file called "board.rep"
- where board is the xpress board id for this bulletin board.

- L - Display the personal history of your Silver Xpress session.

- H - you're in it now!

- Q - Exit Xpress and return to the main host service.

- G - Goodbye, and hangup.
