  2.                            Mail Area Selection
  3.  
  4. In this section, you can select the mail sections you wish Silver Xpress
  5. to scan new mail from. Remote host systems (bulletin boards) usually
  6. carry a tremendous amount of mail sections (usually called areas or
  7. conferences) and usually you are not interested but only a few of them.
  8. By selecting mail section numbers of preference, Silver Xpress will only
  9. scan these areas for new mail. Remember mail is a public activity so you
  10. will be able to read messages and conversations between other people.
  11. However, you are welcome to join right it.
  12.  
  13. To select or deselect areas, just type in the area number(s).

  15.      Example; 1 3 4 10

  17. Other commands for this section are:

  19.      L - Will display a short title for each area
  20.  
  21.      D - display a long title for each area
  22.

  24.      F - case insensitive search of key word. ie. F medical. will
  25.          display only the mail area titles with the word "medical".

  27.      S - Show selected mail areas.
  28.  
  29.      H - Display this help file.

  31.      R - Change the last read pointers for mail areas.

  33.          Example:

  35.           R 10 15   - Change last read pointers in area 10 and 15
  36.           R *       - Change pointers in all areas.
  37.           R *  5    - Reset pointer to 0 in all areas.
