The tomb had not been disturbed for 2,000 years because the entrance had been covered up while workers were building the tomb of Ramses VI. Tutankhamen's tomb is the only tomb yet discovered that was never robbed. The tomb's contents helped experts develop our knowledge of ancient Egypt.
