Transcription: Sculptor. Experts believe that some Egyptian works of art were made by many workers cooperating with each other. Making a statue takes many steps. Sometimes each step was completed by a different person, and sometimes one person would make the whole statue. Statues were made out of stone, metal, and wood. To make a statue from stone, the sculptor first sketched out a shape on a block of stone. He formed the sculpture by patting pounding the stone with a harder rock or by using a hammer and chisel.
