Between them, they offer fewer than 1,500 places - [ITAL][PARA]on the one hand, that's not very many considering the student [PARA]numbers, although, on the other hand, not so bad considering the [PARA]number of mature students who're not 'halls types', and the high [PARA]proportion of locals.[EITAL] What's more, 10% have to share and it sure [PARA]ain't mixed couples, although none of the halls are single sex. As[PARA]for facilities, there's 1 kitchen for every 15 students, although [PARA]there's also a variety of other amenities usually including TV, [PARA]games and common rooms and even sewing/hair dressing [PARA]rooms.
