  3. Modem7 is a close cousin to Xmodem that passes the filename before
  4. starting the transfer, thus taking away some of the user's work. It
  5. is common on CP/M systems. This protocol allows more than one file to
  6. be sent at a time.

  8. Because of the need to wait for acknowledgement after each block,
  9. Modem7 is capable of approximately half the maximum theoretical
  10. transfer rate.
  11.
