  12. SOFTWARE LICENSE AGREEMENT
  13. Grant of Rights
  14. Corel Corporation, Limited (Corel), grants you the
  15. right to make and use unlimited copies of
  16. the accompanying Envoy
  17. Distributable Viewer software product
  18. (Software); distribute copies to other
  19. persons or entities provided each copy
  20. contains this Agreement and the same
  21. copyright and other proprietary notices
  22. that appear on the Software; and make an
  23. archival copy of the Software.  This
  24. Agreement supersedes any prior version
  25. license. 
  26.  
  27. Restrictions
  28. You may not rent or lease the Software
  29. without the written permission of Corel. 
  30. You may not decompile, disassemble,
  31. reverse engineer, copy, create a
  32. derivative work, or otherwise use the
  33. Software except as stated in this
  34. Agreement. 
  35.  
  36. LIMITED WARRANTY/LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
  37. THIS SOFTWARE IS LICENSED AS IS. THIS
  38. WARRANTY IS IN LIEU OF ANY OTHER
  39. WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING
  40. THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY
  41. AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE.  IN
  42. NO EVENT WILL COREL BE LIABLE TO YOU FOR
  43. DAMAGES, INCLUDING ANY LOST PROFITS, LOST
  44. SAVINGS, OR OTHER INCIDENTAL OR
  45. CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF YOUR
  46. USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE SOFTWARE,
  47. EVEN IF COREL OR AN AUTHORIZED COREL
  48. REPRESENTATIVE HAS BEEN ADVISED OF THE
  49. POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

  51. Some jurisdictions do not allow excluding
  52. or limiting implied warranties or limiting
  53. liability for incidental or consequential
  54. damages, and some jurisdictions have
  55. special statutory consumer protection
  56. provisions that may supersede this
  57. limitation of liability.  As a result,
  58. these limitations may not apply to you if
  59. prohibited by the laws of your
  60. jurisdiction.

  63. Any provision of this Agreement found to
  64. be unlawful, void, or unenforceable shall
  65. be severed from this Agreement and will
  66. not affect the validity and enforceability
  67. of any of the remaining provisions. This
  68. agreement is governed by the laws of the
  69. Province of Ontario.

  137. The Software and any accompanying
  138. materials are provided with Restricted
  139. Rights.  Use, duplication, or disclosure
  140. by the Government is subject to
  141. restrictions as set forth in subparagraph
  142.   (1) (ii) of The Rights in Technical Data
  143. and Computer Software clause at DFARS
  144. 252.227-7013 or subparagraphs   (1) and
  145. (2) of the Commercial Computer
  146. Software Restricted Rights at 48 CFR
  147. 52.227-19, as applicable.
