  6. These release notes contain the latest product information for the Envoy (TM)
  7. 7 Distributable Viewer for Windows.

  9. IMPORTANT:  The Envoy Distributable Viewer only lets you view and annotate
  10. existing Envoy files.  In order to create or publish Envoy files, you must
  11. have the full Envoy product, which includes the Envoy 7 Driver.

  25. 1.   SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS FOR THE ENVOY DISTRIBUTABLE VIEWER

  27. To run the applications in Corel WordPerfect Suite 7 or Corel Office
  28. Professional 7, you need the following: 
  29.  
  30.      - Personal computer with 386DX processor (486 recommended)
  31.      - Microsoft(R) Windows 95 
  32.      - 8 MB RAM (16 MB recommended)
  33.      - Hard disk space*:
  34.          - Envoy Distributable Viewer only: 3 MB
  35.      - VGA Graphics Adapter and monitor
  36.      - Mouse

  38. * Disk space requirements vary according to the sector size of
  39.   the hard disk.  The Setup program indicates the correct figure
  40.   for your destination disk.

  44. 2.   INSTALLATION
  45.  
  46. The shipping version of Envoy includes an installation program (DVSETUP7.EXE)
  47. that creates a distributable copy of the Envoy Viewer. It copies all the Envoy
  48. Distributable Viewer files to a location you specify (for example, to your
  49. hard drive).  Run the DVSETUP7.EXE program again from that location to install
  50. the Envoy Viewer to other locations (for example, to a network folder with the
  51. Envoy files you want to distribute).

  53. 1.   On Windows 95, run DVSETUP7.EXE (for example,             
  54.      C:\Corel\Office7\Envoy7\Dvsetup7.exe).

  56. 2.   Follow the on-screen prompts.

  59. 3.   GENERAL TROUBLESHOOTING

  61. Some features on the Envoy Distributable Viewer are dimmed (or grayed).  These
  62. may be features that function in the full Envoy product but not in the
  63. Distributable Viewer.  See "About the Envoy Distributable Viewer" in online
  64. Help for more information about features in the Distributable Viewer and in
  65. the full Envoy product.

  71. Dvsetup7.exe installs the following files in the OFFICE7\ENVOY7 folder:

  73. DVSETUP7.EXE:  The Envoy Distributable Viewer program file   
  74. ENVOY.REG:  The Windows 95 registration file for the Envoy Distributable
  75. Viewer
  76. ENVOY7.EXE:  The Envoy Distributable Viewer
  77. EVYDSTXX.TXT:  Release notes for the Distributable Viewer (this file).  (XX
  78. stands for a language code.  Several languages may be installed.)
  79. EVYLCDXX.TXT:  The Envoy licensing agreement.  (XX stands for a language code.

  82. In the OFFICE7\ENVOY7\SYSTEM folder:
  83. DVRES7XX.DLL:  The Envoy Distributable Viewer resources. (XX stands for a
  84. language code.  Several languages may be installed.)
  85. ENVOY7.EX_:  The Envoy 7 Viewer, compressed for runtime files.
  86. EVYPKG7:  The packager file required to create a runtime file. 
  87. EVYR7XX.HL_:  The Envoy 7 Runtime Viewer help file, compressed. (XX stands for a
  88. language code.  Several languages may be installed.)
  89. EVY7XX.DL_:  The Envoy Distributable Viewer language resources before
  90. decompression.  This file becomes decompressed when a recipient opens the
  91. Distributable Viewer.  (XX stands for a language code.  Several languages may
  92. be installed.)
  93. EVY7XX.DLL:  The Envoy Viewer language resources. (XX stands for a language
  94. code.  Several languages may be installed.)
  95. EVYXH7.DLL:  A file needed to create Web Links
  96. EVYXH7XX.DLL:  Language resources for EVYXH7.DLL. (XX stands for a language
  97. code.  Several languages may be installed.)
  98. EVYGW7.EXE:  A file that makes it possible to send Envoy files using GroupWise
  99. e-mail

  102. EVY7XX.CNT:  The Contents page for the Help file. (XX stands for a language
  103. code.  Several languages may be installed.)
  104. EVY7XX.HLP:  The Envoy online Help file. (XX stands for a language code.

  107. In the OFFICE7\SHARED\PFIT7 folder:
  108. BRSWEB.DLL:  A file needed to browse the World Wide Web
  109. BRSWEBXX.DLL:  Language resources for BRSWEB.DLL. (XX stands for a language
  110. code.  Several languages may be installed.)
