- The DBase Window will hold any combination of data files you wish.
- This window is ideal for keeping all of the sounds and other SysX data
- relating to a song or musical set in a single file for easy retrieval.
- A DBase Window is opened by choosing 'Open DBase from Disk' from the
- 'Tools' Menu. By default, a directory listing is provided to load a data
- base from disk. Select CANCEL for a new data base.

- Three icons on the screen will: MIDI - send the currently selected file
- out to MIDI; EDIT - load the file into an editing window (if available);
- and MIDI.IN - to load the data type currently selected in the Driver List
- into the data base. Additional functions are found in the 'Data Base' Menu:
- Load Data From Disk - Move a data file from disk into the data base.
- Save as MIDI File - save the data file to disk as a Standard MIDI file.
- Save Data to Disk - save the selected data file to disk.
- Open SysX View - open a SysX View Window with the selected data file.
- Open Edit - open an Edit Window (if available) with the selected data file.
- Data to Instrument - send the selected data file to MIDI.
- DBase to Instrument - send the entire contents of the data base to MIDI.
- Sort - by Manufacturer, Instrment Type, File Size, Time or File Name

- To move a data file between DBases, hold down SHIFT (PC CNTRL) and ALT,
- select the data file to move and drag the mouse over the destination DBase
- and release the button, the data file will be moved. Use 'Save' or 'Save
- As...' from the Files Menu to save the DBase.
